I was charging my laptop outdoor when it started raining. I put my laptop into my laptop bag while the charger was still plugged and touching the floor. After the rain stopped, I noticed my charger wasn't charging my laptop again. When I plugged it to power source, the charging indicator will come on and then after one or two minutes, it will go off and won't come on. I then decided to put my charger outside for the sun to dry up water Incase water entered the transformer part. I then took it after a while, and plugged it to the socket and then to my laptop. After several trials, the charging indicator came on and then went off. I changed the plug part of the charger but the result was still the same. Please what can I do? Does it mean that water entered the transformer part of the charger?

" Does it mean that water entered the transformer part of the charger?"

Probably so.

I suggest replacing the charger with a new one.

I recommend that you always remember just how dangerous the combination of a laptop power adapter that is plugged in and water is.

All it takes is 30 milliamps of current to stop your heart and delete you from your life's story.
