My notebook has stopped working as the hard drive boot drive is not available. Can anyone tell me what to do? It was only bought in jul 2018

Hi,

If the PC is still under warranty, you should contact HP directly for a fix. In the link below you can identify your PC to get contact options

https://support.hp.com/gb-en/contact/laptops

If not under warranty and you are sure it is the drive (you have tried HP diagnostics at boot), you will need to replace the drive, with a 2.5" HDD or 2.5"SSD of your choice and reinstall the OS.

Let me know if you need further help,

David
