My laptop's fan is making noise when lifted up or tilted. Is this a issue which can result in some serious damage to my laptop like overheating, or will my fan stop working after some days?

Does it happen only when the laptop is lifted or tilted. 

Does the computer freezes or shuts down due to overheating. 

 

This looks like a possible hardware failure, I would personally suggest you contact our HP support team for further assistance.

 

HP support can be reached on www.hp.com/contacthp

Select the product type.

Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

Select the country from the drop-down.

You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

My laptop doesn't stop or freezes but fan is making grinding noise all time but it gets really loud when I lift it or tilt it a little bit.
