HP Envy x360 13-ar0000no
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

Just bought a 13 inch HP Envy x360 Ryzen 3700U 16GB laptop.

Then fan is making awful noise, it is on constantly and sound like in full power.

Installed all windows updates, Installed new Bios, the Fan always on -setting in Bios is disabled.

Have done everything but this think Is loud as hell.

Is there any other option than to return this? I just can't stand this noise, I prefer to use my 5 years old Zenbook than this.

All the other feauters are perfect in this laptop, but the fan noise is way too much.

Just wanted to add that CPUID HWmonitor shows CPU packaged temperature 61 Celsius (142 Farenheit)

Still the fan is like full power. Is this a broken laptop or is this just so crap?

@Vitunmulkut,

Thank you for posting your query on HP Community,

Let's try to run an extensive system test from F2 and check if the hardware components on your PC are functioning correctly.

1. Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.

2. Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second.

When the menu appears, press the F2 key.

3. On the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) main menu, click System Tests.

4. Click Extensive Test.

5. Click Run once, or Loop until error.

While the test is running, the time remaining and test result for each component are

shown on the screen.

6. If a component fails a test, write down the failure ID (24-digit code) so you have it

available when you contact HP Customer Support. The information is also available in

Test Logs on the main menu.

If the test fails I would suggest this to be a possible hardware failure. However, I would suggest you go through this support document. HP Notebook PCs - Fan is Noisy and Spins Constantly (Windows)
