MY HP lap top keeps making a hissing sound. It is a relatively new unit. I was wondering what would be causing this and should I be doing something about it.

What is the model of the laptop please? Does it make the sound on AC power and also battery?

The model is HP Pavilion15 -cs2016na. It only happens when power lead attached to AC power not on battery.

Pick up the AC power pack and see if it is the source. If not does it seem to be coming from a particular place in the laptop?
