HP OMEN 15 2020 EK-0023TX
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I bought a new HP OMEN laptop today and to my surprise, the touchpad was acting kind of weird. It only worked when I pressed one of the buttons with one finger and moved the cursor from the other. Otherwise it won't. After I quickly set it up and updated the drivers, it got a little bit better but it's still not perfect.

My question is whether this is a widespread issue, and if it is, then are there any solutions to it? On the other hand, if this isn't a well known issue then is it a software problem or a hardware problem? I don't know if I can replace it at the store that I got it from but I can still try. I really hope it's a software problem. Please let me know if you know about any possible solutions. I've updated the drivers and it's still not completely perfect like it still misses some of my touches unless of course, I press the buttons on the trackpad and then try to move the cursor with my other finger.
