HP Pavilion x360 m1-u001dx (ENERGY STAR)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently recovered this device by replacing the HDD with a SSD and after using it I realized that the scroll feature on my laptop didn't work. I'm not sure if it can and my trackpad is broken or there never was a scrolling feature.

Hi @ChrisG124,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I understand you are facing a touchpad issue with your HP Notebook PC. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

The multi-touch touchpad supports four-finger gestures and lets you scroll, zoom, and navigate with a simple touch.

To assist better:

While you respond to that please try the below steps:

Update the BIOS & Touchpad drivers to resolve this issue

  • Here's the link to download and install the above updates: Click here

If the issue persists, then please follow the steps mentioned in this document: Keyboard, Mouse, TouchPad, and ClickPad issues

If the issue still persists, I'm sending out a private message to assist you with the next course of action.

Please check your Private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile Next, to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it or simply click on this link.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
