Can I upgrade my PC with an NVME drive?

Hi:

If your notebook has a M.2 slot, it only supports SATA M.2 SSD's , not NVMe.

See chapter 1 of the service manual at the link below for the supported drive configurations.

Since your model did not come with a M.2 SSD from the factory, it is possible there is no M.2 slot.

If you look at chapter 3, page 17, item 13, there is a separate board that contains the M.2 slot.

It would be a lot easier to just replace your 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SSD.
