Need more space and performance, want to upgrade the existing SSD to a WD SN750 inside a Spectre x360 (Model #15-CH0011dx). The machine is currently 450 miles away, so I cannot just crack it open. Unfortunately, the H/W specifications just say NVMe SSD without any physical dimensions. The WD is 80mm. How long is the stock SSD: 30, 42, 60, 80 or 110mm?

It uses single sided 2280 (or 80mm) drive. You can use shorter if you wish but you can't use longer SSD. It simply won't physically fit.
Regards.
