My question is about the reasonability of installing an NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD in my HP Omen 17 ck0002 laptop.
I have done some research and found out that my laptop has a second PCIe 4.0 slot that can be used for installing an SSD. However, I wanted to clarify whether installing an SSD would cause any overheating issues with the system. I read that most of NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSDs can be very hot without proper cooling (up to 100°C) and my. Should I worry about that?
Additionally, I would like to know what recommendations you can give me regarding choosing a suitable SSD model for my laptop.
P.S. Currently I'm going to buy Samsung 980 Pro 2Tb

What is your machine ? Is it an HP Omen 17-ck0xxx machine ? You can use PCIe-4 × 4 or PCIe-3 × 4 on the second slot up to 2TB
Regards.
