HP Probook 450 G2
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi Everyone,

I want to upgrade HDD of my HP Probook 450G2.  So, question is :

1.  NVMe would support it ?

2.  Which size of NVMe would support?

Note: I tested Transcend  TS120MTS420S (SATAIII) 3D TLC. Its working fine

https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B076P63R3N/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

but I want to use NVMe which is much faster than SATA III based SSD.  It is also mentioned in spec 120 GB M.2 .  Anyone tried 240 GB?

https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Toshiba-120GB-SSD-RC100-PCIe-3-M-2-2242-Internal-SSD-M-2-NVMe-Solid-State-Dr...

I want to buy 240 GB if compatible.

Thanks in Advanced

Hi,

Thank you for your immediate reply. But M.2 support PCIe card, right?

Can I use 240 SATA III instead of 120GB?

Can I use Transcend MTS400S which is  MLC  and 128GB or 256GB

https://www.amazon.ca/Transcend-MTS400-Solid-State-TS128GMTS400/dp/B00KLTPUU0

I need to improve the booting time and buffering feature. Any suggestion?

Thanks.
