Hello,

I purchased a NVMe ssd 960 EVO m.2 (https://www.amazon.it/Samsung-MZ-V6E250BW-NVMe-Nero-Arancione/dp/B01M211K53/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&... -1 & keywords = NVMe + ssd + 960 + EVO + m.2), but once the device is correctly inserted into the M.2 port, the PC does not detect the SSD even from the BIOS.

Do you have any advice to give me?

I have run all the updates that the HP site offers, but nothing has changed. So I wanted to understand if it is the PC that is not compatible with this type of SSD.

I would also like to know what kind of SSD you recommend to buy as a replacement, always with M.2 attack.

M.2 SATA type only in that model. See the Service Manual here:

Manual     see p. 2

Samsung Evo 850 M.2 or WD Blue should work fine:

The Dell laptop forum had something about the 960 not be detected. I never paid close attention to the post.

Yes the 860 M.2 SATA should work, too.
