Product: HP ENVY 17.3 inch Laptop PC 17-cr0000 IDS Base Model

My built-in webcam is not detected on a new laptop.  I tried to use it for the first time and it is not found by windows.   I verified that it is not disabled on the keyboard.  It also does not show up in the device manager.   I checked the HP support and Microsoft drivers website, there is no webcam driver listed.  It is under warranty, but I want to download the driver and install it myself.
