Product: Hp Pavilion DV6 3090TX
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to upgrade my 2 GB RAM of HP Pavillion DV6 3090TX. The Product Number is: XU566PA#ABG

 

I bought a PNY 8GB DDR3 1600MHz CL11 1.35V. But it didn't work. The Blue screen comes and Windows don't restart and crashes after the BIOS. I have a 2GB Samsung RAM, on putting back the old RAM it works fine.

 

The RAM i purchased is as below.

Hi:

 

HP notebooks and desktop PC's with the Intel series 5 chipsets are very hard to get the right memory for.

 

Since your location indicates United States, this memory should work in your notebook...
