HP Spectre x360 - 13t-aw000 CTO
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello, both of my rubber feet on the bottom of my laptop fell off and I need a replacement. They started peeling off after a HP service repair a 2 years ago and eventually would not stay on at all. Now I am out of warranty.  The maintenance guide has the part listed as L71975-001 and when I searched on the HP Parts Store it shows as not orderable.  When I search online it is showing as $50+.  Any suggestions on how to get this replacement from HP or an alternative source?  Please help!

@gracehelp, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding a rubber foot replacement!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand how frustrating it can be to lose the rubber feet on your Spectre, especially since they help with stability and ventilation. Since your device is out of warranty, obtaining a replacement through HP may involve a nominal charge.

Let me know if you’d like assistance in exploring the HP service route. I'd be happy to help!

Take care, and have an amazing day!

The least expensive means of replacing the  rubber feet is purchasing them on your own and installing them yourself.

Yes. They are expensive. I had the same experience.

I measured the feet and found reasonably priced replacements on Amazon.com. eBay is also another source.

Thanks. I might still have the feet somewhere. Do you know a way to reattach them instead?

How about giving double sided tape a try?

That should be inexpensive and worth trying.
