Hello, all we need is an update for the firmware. Already contacted activision and they told me this is a manufacturer problem. All the other companies already give an update to get the 3.92.5.5 but we are stuck in the 3.92.0.5. Please help us with this issue with just a simple update.

Hi @gokupazos

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

HP has not yet released BIOS firmware version 3.92.5.5 for public download. If you're currently on 3.92.0.5 and awaiting compatibility updates for specific applications, the latest available version must be installed from HP’s official support page for your device.

I’m really sorry you’re stuck waiting for this firmware update—it’s incredibly frustrating when other platforms have moved forward and you're left unable to access full functionality. You’ve done everything right by checking with Activision and confirming the version gap. Let’s walk through what you can do now.

What we know about BIOS 3.92.5.5

  • Version 3.92.5.5 is not yet listed on HP’s public driver repositories for consumer notebooks or desktops.
  • The latest available version remains 3.92.0.5, which you’ve already installed.
  • HP firmware updates are released per product family, so availability depends on your exact model and region.

What you can do now

1. Check for updates using HP’s official support page

  • Visit: HP Software and Driver Downloads
  • Enter your exact product name or serial number.
  • Look under BIOS or Firmware section.
  • If 3.92.5.5 is listed, download and install it directly.

If it’s not listed, it means the update hasn’t been released for your device yet.

2. Use HP App to check for updates

  1. Open the HP App on your Windows PC.
  2. Go to My Device > Updates.
  3. Check for any BIOS or firmware updates available.

This ensures you’re not missing any region-specific releases.

3. Stay tuned for rollout

HP firmware updates are often released in phases. If other manufacturers have already pushed 3.92.5.5, HP may be validating it for your hardware family before release.

You can revisit the support page weekly or monitor the HP Support Community for announcements.

Let me know your exact product model if you’d like help checking its update status directly. You’ve done everything right by staying proactive—I’ll be here to guide you further if needed.
