HP Envy x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Purchased this HP envy x360 on 3/25/2020. I noticed the left hinge is slightly crooked:  (model 15m-dr1011dx).

1). Can the hinge cover be crooked but not the hinge itself?

2). Is it mounted this way to make room inside the case for something else?

*** NOTE *** When opening/closing the lid (screen), there is no noise and the lid moves smoothly.

Don't know if this should be fixed now (or at all). The laptop is very fast, and I hope to have it for a long while.

Probably nothing to fix. Yes the hinge cover is just a plastic piece and is not attached to the internal metal hinge.
