Hello, 

I replaced the lcd screen on my laptop but it doesn't work. The new screen and the old screen have the same properties, except the new one is FHD but the old one was HD. I checked and some versions of this laptop model had FHD option so its possible it supports it. Unfortunately I don't know how to check if there's actually a dual lane lcd cable inside. Furthermore after I took out the battery of the motherboard for 15 minutes a logo showed up on laptop's screen and then after about 3 sec it shut down and the power button was blinking. Now its back to not showing anything at all. If I connect it to an external monitor it works.

Also upon installing a new lcd screen the keyboard and the mouse pad stopped working, so now I'm also using external keyboard and mouse. 

 

What I already tried but didn't help:

1.) I deleted the mouse pad and keyboard driver and restarted the laptop. 

2.) I checked the lcd cable multiple times and its completely plugged in. 

3.) I tested RAM and hard drive in bios and both passed the test. 

4.) One person had a similar problem and his graphics card couldn't connect to the lcd screen so I tried his suggestion, whis is changing settings in bios>display>change 256 to 512 and uncheck hybrid graphics, restart, and change it back in bios. Didn't work.

 

Currently I am formatting Windows 10. Next I can try updating bios, thought I have no idea if any of those will work. 

Since there was some action on the new lcd screen, like briefly showing a logo, I believe it might be a software issue. Of course I could be wrong. 

Do you have any suggestions?
