New Ram not supporting

Hp pavvilion g4 1303au
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)
I have bought one ram. But its not supporting. Please help me what might be the prob.

Hi Arnab,

 

I am not sure which memory/ram you are using but these are the memory which are compatible with this model

 

Memory modules, PC2-5300, 667-MHz, 1-DIMM


For use only with computer models using Intel processors:


1024-MB= 434742-001


512-MB= 434741-001


256-MB= 434740-001

 

For use only with computer models using AMD processors:


1024-MB= 431403-001


512-MB= 431402-001


256-MB= 431401-001

Hi,

 

The problem is very simple "not supporting", you need to buy the right RAM. You need to buy right RAM using part numberon page 53 of the following manual SAME specs.

Your machine runs 32bit OS, please do not use over 4GB in total.

New Ram not supporting

For 4GB upgrade. Which  RAM is supported. I am using AMD processor. 

 

RAM.PNGPlease let me know asap as I have already bought one and will be returning it soon.
