HP Pavilion x360 - 13-u104nl

I just bought a new battery for my notebook and I'm having trouble charging it. The battery goes up to 72% with the light flashing white and orange then stops charging.  If Before starting the computer I go to the main settings and scan the battery I don't even see a new battery It can't scan the battery  (the battery is not original HP) processed-3efa359e-37a6-4dc9-a2fb-403bc692f430_PavZwHLB[1633].jpegprocessed-865a370d-4907-4785-9833-048034163758_w7oHfLPP[1632].jpeg

I would request an RMA from the vendor.

That battery may have been around for a long time in inventory before it was sold to you.

You should be able to check that with the Windows battery report.

Hi Erico! Nice to meet you,

Yes I think the real problem is the time that the battery was in storage before being sold. Now it tends to charge at 61% and then stop. Is not original but it costs a lot (85€) so I think I'll ask to the vendor a refund if the problem remain after a 10 charging-discharging.

Thank you very much for the battery report tools! 😜 I think I'll send the report to the vendor directly when I ask for the refund.

Hi!

Nice to meet you as well.

I hope that Windows Battery Report provides good info on the battery for you to use in your RMA request.

I can't think of a better way to let a vendor know their battery was unsatisfactory or defective.
