HP 2000
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have an HP G72 with a busted screen that had several expensive programs on it that I need to use.  I've swapped out the HDD from the G72 and put it in an HP 2000 that I have.  Of course, with the different hardware, Windows wants new activation.  How can I do this to be sure that everything runs properly on the HP 2000 machine?

You should have a COA label on the bottom of laptop with Windows license key.

Will the COA from the G72 work since it's the same HDD, but a different machine?

You should have a license key on the HP 2000 also which will work.
