HP pavilion gaming 17
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
  • Hello, my laptop recently stopped working, it turned out that the video chip and video memory had burned out, re-soldering the whole thing is painstaking, so I decided to buy a new motherboard, but I can't find it anywhere. My laptop: HP pavilion gaming 17 cd0044ur (i7 9750H gtx 1660Ti 16gb LA-473P) I only found a similar motherboard but it has the part number cd0068nf 8gb. My question is where can I get the motherboard? What do the numbers 44ur and 68nf mean and how do they differ.

That motherboard is from a model with an i5 processor. It would fit but you would take a performance hit.

Your motherboard HP Part number:

Intel Core i7-9750H processor and 6 GB of discrete graphics memory (GeForce GTX 1660 Ti) L58846-xx1

The last three are -001 if the laptop came with FreeDos and -601 if it had Windows 10 installed from the factory.

HP does not have these in stock in Germany but perhaps can direct you to a reseller:

Otherwise, post back and we can see if one can be found on amazon or eBay or an online parts house.

Thank you, i didn't find it on this site, maybe you know more sites where i can find it? Or maybe I can replace it with other suitable?

I found one, but it has L58846-601, is it ok? Will it fit?

HP Recommended

Yes. That is your correct motherboard assuming you had Windows 10. Even if not that one would have an embedded Windows 10 license and Windows 10 would just install without the need for a Key Code.
