@Nandu1812, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP Laptop 15g-dr0006tx shows no power, no charging LED, and no response at all, and you've already tried basic troubleshooting, this points to a possible hardware-level failure. Here’s a structured set of steps you can try before considering a repair:
Perform a Hard Reset (Power Drain)
- Unplug the charger.
- Disconnect all peripherals (USB devices, SD cards, etc.).
- Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds to discharge residual power.
- Reconnect the charger (without battery, if removable), and try powering on.
Try a Different Power Adapter and Wall Outlet
- Sometimes the adapter or cable is faulty.
- Borrow a compatible HP charger (same voltage & connector) and try it.
- Also plug into a different power outlet.
Check Charging Port and LED
- Use a flashlight to look into the charging port for burn marks, bent pins, or loose connection.
- See if the charging LED blinks even faintly when connected.
Inspect for Signs of Life
- Even with no display, try checking:
- Do you hear the fan spin briefly?
- Any keyboard backlight or caps lock light blinking?
- Insert a USB drive with an LED to see if it powers up when plugged in.
BIOS Recovery Key Combo
Try HP BIOS recovery:
- Hold Win + B, then press and hold the power button for 2-3 seconds, then release all.
- Wait 10–15 seconds. If the BIOS recovery starts, follow on-screen instructions.
If none of these steps work, then please visit the nearest HP authorized service center, the service team will check and assist you.
