Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have tried all of the listed corrective measures for resolving the battery charging difficulties I have. None of them have worked.  Do I need to open the laptop and remove the battery which is one of the recommended actions?  The battery is not directly accessible so I've been reluctant to do that.

@JimA4,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are getting plugged in not charging message on the computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

What is the exact model or the product number of your computer?

What the troubleshooting steps you have performed?

Meanwhile, I recommend you update the BIOS on your computer from the below link and check if it helps.
