Not all the keys on my built-in keyboard work all the time. It's not always the same keys and it's not 100% of the time. Typing this everything is working. All day I've been dropping Gs and Hs and Backspaces. It's the not 100% that's confused me and made me think this wasn't a hardware issue. My CPU is not pegging. I've removed anything I could from installed programs. I've searched for unknown running processes. When I use the keyboard test from HP, every key works every time. If this was happening a long time ago, I would look for a hung interrupt. But I have no idea on this. It really is different keys and it really is only part of the time. I've cleaned the keyboard with air. I've reinstalled Windows. I've rebooted. The PC does seem a little warm but people say I should expect that with an SSD. Ideas?

>This is one of the recent laptop designs that do-NOT have a replaceable Keyboard. And subject to annoying key problems. In my Experience (over 10,000 PCs fixed) this is usually due to a child using your laptop, unknown to you... and spilling 'something' into it.
>Typical "real" Fix, is to try to find/purchase the Complete Palmrest Assembly (has keyboard permanently attached underneath it's surface) from Amazon or eBay... then find a PC Professional to actually install it.
