Wanting to install nvme ssd in the open slot (have a 2tb drive in the drive slot)
Planning on samsung 970 evo plus 1tb
wondering what the process/slot limitation are on this model.
have seen some links to other model’s maintenance manuals in these discussions.
any help appreciated

Thanks for the info. I have a few more questions?
why is it saying to uninstall the battery as part of this? Is this to cause a reset or something?
hd specs it mentions is a 1tb hd. I have 2tb. Does this matter? EI does this manual match my lt or is it generic for a bunch of lt’s

You're very welcome.
You don't want any active current when working inside your notebook.
Failure to remove the battery or disconnect the A/C power, could cause a short circuit = dead notebook.
The manual is a one size fits all manual and may not be 100% complete.
Some processors aren't listed in the model series, for example.
