hello! I have the OMEN 16-wf1016ns and the ram speed should be 5600 mts but for some reason in the tastk manager show 5200 mts

Hi:

 

You're right.

 

Intel indicates the processor should be running the memory at up to 5600 MHz.

 

Intel® Core™ i7 processor 14700HX

 

The only suggestion I can offer is to check the memory information to make sure HP didn't mistakenly install DR5-5200 MHz memory in your notebook.

 

I use this free utility (the portable version) to check hardware information:

If HP installed the correct memory, I don't know of any way to increase the frequency to 5600 MHz.

Yes, that is correct.

 

Your notebook has the correct memory installed, so I have no idea why it isn't running at the full 5600 MHz.
