HP Recommended
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Do the following laptops

HP Omen 17-db0002nv Laptop 17.3"

HP OMEN 16-wf1010nv Laptop 16.1"

have a second ssd slot.

if yes, do they support 2tb ssd and what type of ssd is needed.

Yes they both have  a pair of M.2 SSD slots and you can use a 2 TB 2280 form factor NVME M.2 SSD. 4 TB modules are also made and would work. Post back with any more questions.
