@Alner10 , welcome to the forum.

Here is the Maintenance and Service Guide for the computer.  In Chapter 5, Removal and replacement procedures for Customer Self-Repair parts, Pages 32 and 33, there is a list of compatible SSD's and Optane drives.  On Page 32 it states as follows:

Capture.PNG

There is no SSD in the second socket.  You will have to buy one.

Please click the Thumbs up + button if I have helped you and click Accept as Solution if your problem is solved.

Its specs

   https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06396158

The specs does not mention the second M.2 SSD BUT you can have one of the following options

  1. 512 GB, PCIe, NVMe, TLC, solid-state drive + 1 TB, PCIe, NVMe, TLC solid-state drive
  2. 512 GB, PCIe, NVMe, TLC, solid-state drive + 1 TB, 7200 rpm hard drive
  3. 512 GB, PCIe, NVMe, TLC, x2, RAID 0 solid-state drive + 2 TB, 5400 rpm hard drive

That means it has second M.2 SSD slot as shown on 1 and 3 above.

Regards.
