Hi:

Below is the link to the Crucial memory report for your notebook.

Memory RAM & SSD Upgrades | hp - compaq | hp omen 17 | HP OMEN 17-cb1000ur | Crucial.com

According to the report you can install as much as 2 x 32 GB of memory in your notebook.

Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates the max is 2 x 16 GB of memory but the Crucial report is usually correct.

last link you add for cb1000 series is shows an other models  inside the manual:  Product Name OMEN by HP 17 Laptop PC Model numbers: 17-cb0000~17-cb0999, 17-cb000

That's the only manual there is.

So, you can go with what the Crucial memory report link says, or what the service manual indicates.

Just make sure you get the right speed memory,  since your notebook has a newer processor than those listed in the manual.

Of cause the CPU is new version. So why i have to go to 3rd party (Crucial) if exist the HP support? Why HP support not provides the full information?
