Omen laptop 15 fan keeps on vibrating and not working

My laptop fan is not working, it keeps on vibrating and the error "system fan 90b" pops up when I start it sometimes. I need help because I don't want any harm to my laptop and would love to find a solution.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. 

Try these steps - 

1) Shutdown the computer. 
2) Turn the computer back on again and repeatedly tap on the ESC until a Startup menu appears. 
3) Press F10 once for BIOS. 
4) Press F9 for BIOS defaults. 
5) Press F10 to save and exit. 

Try updating the computer using these steps -

Step 1 Windows Updates - 

1) In the search box, type and open Windows Updates. 
2) Check for updates. 
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer. 

Step 2 HP Support Assistant Updates - 

1) In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant. 
2) Check for updates. 
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
