Can an SSD (Samsung 250GB 970 EVO PLUS NVMe M. 2) be installed instead of 16 gb of optane memory?

Also, since it is already using Optane , you could put one of these in there, or larger.
Edit: That link does not work as I expected. At that link search for 607-HBRPEKNX0101A01 it is Intel Optane 256GB SSD with a 16GB buffer for M.2
But, if you want to use the Samsung stick it should work.
