Hi:

 

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

 

c04409502 (hp.com)

 

Chapter 1, page 2 indicates the size of the drive (9.5mm).

 

Chapter 3, page 22 has the optical drive part number (750636-001).

 

If you do an internet search of that part number, you will be able to confirm that it is a 9.5mm drive.
