HP ZBook Fury 17.3 inch G8 Mobile Workstation PC IDS Base Model
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I ordered two Zbook Fury 17.3 G8 workstations last August (2021) directly from HP. They promptly arrived last week (January 2022) and we quickly discovered that Wifi and bluetooth weren't working. Come to find out that somehow we ordered the machine without the AX201NGW Wireless card installed. Went online and purchased the correct cards, and when we tried installing them, the the devices aren't recognized in Windows. Checking in the BIOS to see if they are disabled, the settings that should be there to enable the WLAN card and Bluetooth are missing. Using the HP Image Assistant, when comparing our image to the HP reference image online, it appears that those settings are indeed missing from our BIOS image.

I have scoured the interwebs and have been unable to find a solution to this and how to add these settings in BIOS. HP support wants us to send the machines in, but my users have already moved everything over to these new machines and can't afford to be with out them right now.

Any suggestions?
