Hi,
i`m trying to repair an Pavilion 15-p155ng. The monitor stays blank. I checked the mainboard, the ram, external monitor and so on. The mainboard gets power, the fan starts, the power led is on (side and keyboard led), no beeps, no blinks. So, after some tests i think its the graphics unit, so i have to replace the mainboard. The sku is 762526-501 (AMD A8) which i don`t find on the net. So i found a similiar which is listed in the spare parts document of hp, 787515-501. This one is a intel n3540. Because the graphics unit belongs to the motherboard, i think there is no difference for the rest of the hardware.
So, just to be sure, can i take the intel one?
Thanks, Sebastian

Hi Betty,
thanks for the response. I cannot contact our hp support, because the laptop is way to old and so i have no support contact possibilities.
I just thought about the switch from amd to intel architecture, because both mainboard sku are listed in the manual.
