Hello! I want to upgrade the processor of my HP Pavilion DV7 2065ef laptop. Motherboard DAUT3DMB8D0 REV D, UT35 ATI. Currently there is an Intel Mobile Core 2 Duo P7450. I want to replace it with a quad-core QX9300 or Q9100. Is it possible? Which processors will fit my motherboard. Is it possible to replace the motherboard to install the QX9300? Thank you!

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

 

pavilion_dv7.pdf (manualslib.com)

 

Chapter 1 has the list of supported processors.

 

The Q9100 processor is supported according to the manual.

 

That would be the only information I can provide.

The Q9100 is a quad core processor, and the service manual indicates that processor is supported.
