Pavilion x360

As many other users have posted on this forum, the screen on my Pavilion x360 laptop all of a sudden popped out at the bottom right hand corner and soon after, a crack across the screen appeared.

I got this laptop as a gift in June 2018, and I always carry it in a case and take care of it. It doesn't make sense that after

two years it is already broken. This clearly seems like a manufacturer issue as many others have had the exact same problem. I can't afford to buy a new laptop right now. Before this laptop I had another HP laptop that lasted me almost 7 years, how is it possible that this one breaks after 2 years?

As the laptop is no longer covered by the warranty, I would like to know what my options are and what I can do about this.
