This NB officially support 16g and 512g m.2 ssd only.

I just wonder if it's OK to replace with 1TB m.2 2280 ssd.

Yes, you can replace with 1TB or 2TB M.2 SSD. Please use same brand and series of the existing drive. You can use others but it would make life easier when using same brand and series.

Thanks a lot.   It will be much easier otherwise it's a trouble to use an external hd.
