Pavillion 15 Broken hinge

HP Recommended
Pavillion 15
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Does anybody know how to get spare parts for Pavillion 15 please.

My machine is under warranty, and was sent away for repair, but the repair agents refused to repair it and sent it back saying it has been dropped. It has not, and from the problems with hinges listed on here I think there is a design problem. To be quoted £170 for a repair is a bit much so on looking  into it myself I find that the broken hinge is siezed solid and has snapped the metal bar which goes into the display. But I now find it dificult to source the parts.

You can order HP-certified replacement parts for your notebook computer by using the HP PartSurfer. HP PartSurfer has a complete list of parts and can help you find the part you need.

If in case the part is not available, we shall escalate this issue to the concerned team.
