Dear [Manufacturer Name] Support Team,

I am writing to report that my laptop was stolen on October 10, 2025. I purchased the device recently on September 24, 2025, and unfortunately, I had not enabled the "Find My Device" feature.

I have filed a police report and would like to request that you flag this device as stolen in your system. If the device is brought in for service or support, please notify me or the authorities.

Kindly let me know if there are any steps I can take to help track or recover the device. I am very keen to retrieve it.

I’m truly sorry your HP Pavilion laptop was stolen—especially so soon after purchase. 

 

That’s a deeply upsetting experience, and you’ve already taken the right first step by filing a police report. 

 

While tracking options are limited without “Find My Device” enabled

 

Unfortunately we do not have an option to mark/flag it as stolen.

 

You may once try to visit HP’s official support contact page to check if can talk to our phone support team for further assistance.
