Hi.  Pointing stick are buttons above touchpad in my notebook are not working. I tried to search forum for simmilar issues, but none of solutions  helped me. I have installed all drivers from HP Support Assistant.

In device manager I have two mouse devices: HID Compilant device  - driver version 10.0.18362.1 and  Synaptics SMBus  TouchPad driver version 19.0.19.69.

Check the BIOS settings. There is an option to enable touchpad only or touchpad plus pointer stick.

Thanks for answer. Unfortunatelly, I didn't find this option. I searched in all submenus in BIOS and no luck 😞 Where it should be and how it is named?

Well it seems you are right. Here is the BIOS simulator:

I do not see it there. The only other place to look that I know about is in the Mouse properties in the Control Panel.

It is not impossible that the pointer stick ribbon cable has become disconnected from the motherboard.

Unfortunatelly, there is only TouchPad present in Mouse control panel

That would be consistent with the pointer stick cable being disconnected.
