HP Notebook 15-ac122tu
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello Experts,

I am in the process of upgrading my laptop as it lags and freezes while doing video editing.

My current laptop name is HP Notebook 15-ac122tu, with product number: N8M18PA.

so I want to ask -

  1. Can I upgrade my laptop processor from i3 to i5?
  2. Does it even worth upgrading?

Thanks, heaps.

Hi:

The processor and graphics are integral parts of the motherboard.

In order to upgrade the processor, the motherboard would have to be replaced by one listed in the service manual for your notebook that may come with a better processor.

That would definitely not be worth the cost.
