Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My power button broke. So, i went to the manual and got the spare part number. I bought this piece:

When I tried it, it doesnt work. I know the problem is definitely the power button since I can turn on the pc with the old one and a screw driver. The problem seems to be the ribbon size is to small for the connector. Where can i get a working/genuine part? Thank you.

I have checked the specifications of the PC and found a replacement part number for the power button board.

 

Please find the part details listed below.

 

Power button board (includes cable) 774599-001

 

The power button board is not a customer replaceable part. Replacing the part can void warranty on the PC.
