I have just been upgrading the memory and replacing a broken wifi antenae and a broken keyboard cover on an old laptop in the hope of generating one than could be used rather than buy a new one.  But I have encountered difficulty relocking into place the cover now the maintenance is complete.  Something clearly has happened to the hinges. I can get the covers to lock together everywhere except at both the hinges. The right hand one is "in the air" and is very stiff to move, and it just won't stay down when the lid is moved open/shut.

I'd really appreciate some help on how to fix this - it doesn't have to be pretty it just has to work and hold. as the laptop is for use within the family, it's not like we are going to resell it or anything.

Ts in advance
