Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Hi, I'm looking for advise if there's anything I can do myself before contacting local support. Here's the story:

My laptop (ProBook 450 G1) hasnt been used for 2 months. I started it yesterday and it turned out there was no power left in the battery. When Windows loaded it said 0% available (plugged in, not charging). The laptop couldn't start on battery only. The LED light that is on when the battery is charging is off. When i connect the power it's flasing first white, then orange and then it dies. I figured there's a problem, guessing it's because the battery stayed without enough charge for too long. First thing i did was to update the BIOS - my version was 05 (i recently got the machine and it appears the BIOS hadnt been updated before that). So i upgraded to the latest version 43 (read that version 20 was fixing an issue with the battery so i hoped that would help). No dice! I installed HPSA - run the troubleshooter and it sayd Status OK but the battery hadnt been charged for a long time so I should charge it. Thanks, i hadnt figured that out... One other thing i did was to remove the battery, the power supply and the little battery on the motherboard. I then pressed the power button for a minute. I read in a post that this resets some settings and might help. Other than resetting the time nothing else happened. Tried UEFI diagnostics - same result as UEFI.

So now what?
