Hey!
So I've got a pavilion dv6-6145TX which is currently running an intel core i7-2630QM CPU @ 2.00 Ghz and I was wondering if it was possible to upgrade this processor to a better one in order to improve the processing speed of my laptop for better gaming, audio visual ect.
If it is possible to upgrade it would anyone be able to recommend the best or a better processor to upgrade to and any possible places that i could purchase one from?
Thankyou very much!

Hi,
There are few options on page 2 of the following document:
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c02842252.pdf
Normally games require mor GPU power which you can't upgrade from the following specs
http://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c02921673
Few other options
(a) RAM: You can upgrade to 8GB
(b) Storage: SSD may help.
Again, tis is an old computer I would not upgrade it interms of cost/performance ratio.
Regards.
