Its an external battery: no need to open the case to replace it. Clip out/clip in. This is the HP Part Number:

 

4-cell, 41-Whr, 2.8-Ah Li-ion battery 919701-850

 

Found several compatible batteries on amazon .in but no genuine. Are you willing to order from outside India?
