HP Notebook - 15-ay196nr

I read on another thread somewhere, where someone who said they were an expert,  that the  HP 15-ay196nr is capable of 32 GB RAM.  However the HP specs say only 16 GB maximum.  I also have an HP 15-bs190od that according to HP  is also spec'd out for a max of 16 GB RAM.  When i ran Crucial's Scan Tool, I wanted to upgrade the RAM and the HD to an SSD,  it said that it could accommodate up to 32 GB RAM.  Sure enough it does.

Has anyone upgraded the  HP 15-ay196nr to more than 16 GB RAM?  If I can go to 32 I want to

A. For RAM, you can use the following steps to find out its max supports

1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.

This will open the command prompt.

2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and hit enter.

From here, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.

B. SSD: The series does NOT support dual storage You can replace HDD with a 2.5" SATA SSD up to 2TB. Crucial tells you its compatible SSD

Regards.
