What is the maximum amount of RAM I can install to this notebook?
Can I use DDR4 3200 MHz memory if I can not find 2933 Mhz RAM?
Is there an official compatibility docs or chart for RAM, which contains details about this topic?

You can install the amount of memory that makes you feel comfortable.
I've given you all the help I can regarding this matter.

Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates the notebook can support up to 2 x 8 GB of DDR4-3200 MHz memory, which will run at 2933 MHz.
You need to buy DDR4-3200 CL22 memory, so it bridges without a problem.
The notebook can probably support 2 x 16 GB of memory, and you can run this command to see if that would be possible:
1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.
This will open the command prompt.
2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and hit enter.
There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.
The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.

I checked the results of the command it seems that motherboars supports 32 Gigabyte RAM, but I am not sure if it will work based on the guide. The guide only mention maximum 16 GB memory. I am afraid of that the memory slot can not handle larger module than 8 GB.

Cheers, mate. I had the same doubt. I got an answer stating that in many cases, HP does NOT list full RAM support of machines, it only lists options for pre-configured machines they deliver. You can trust what CMD indicates for your motherboard. Hope I helped.
