Hi everyone,
I have an HP laptop and I’m interested in upgrading its RAM. I would like to know if it’s possible to upgrade the RAM on my device, and what is the maximum supported capacity and type (e.g., DDR4, speed, etc.).

Here are the details of my laptop:

  • Model: HP Pavilion Laptop 15-eg0500la

I’d really appreciate your help. Thank you in advance!

@WXAlejoXW

You can work out yourself using

1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.

    This will open the command prompt.

2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and hit enter.

    From here, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.

Note: To get to GB value, you simply divide the above number to (1024 x 1024).

Regards.
